“I fell in love with the art of drawing at a very early age as I watched my mother draw portraits of various subjects. By the time I was 13 years old I was introduced to a much more serious style of drawing, one that would change my life forever! My mentor, Kyle R. Soltis, introduced me to the world of life drawings and science fiction art, and it was then the basic principles of drawing were broken down to me. The fascination that you could create beautiful images with a tool as simple as a pencil or pen were remarkable to me.”
“Primarily self taught, with some formal training in college (where I was introduced to a broader spectrum in the Arts), and through my inspirations from fantasy, various periods of art history (Renaissance being my most favorite), tattoo art, subjects in psychology, philosophy, and mythology, allows me to develop my own style of art known as “mystic”. My work is derived from deep within my subconscious.”
“My “mystic” designs start off with a basic shape, and then I let my hands feel the energy of the line, as well as whatever I am feeling deep inside, and I just let it start flowing. The little touch of color that I add to my pieces is just enough to give it that final bit of trancelike touch.”
“I reside in Las Vegas, NV working as a freelance artist. I have displayed my work in various group shows at The Arts Factory, The Box Office, Winchester Cultural Arts Center, The Aruba Hotel, Jillians @ the Fremont Experience, PLACE Gallery, and have had Solo exhibitions at MTZC, The Funk House, TAO lounge (located inside the Venetian Hotel), as well as various outdoor exhibitions such as Artapalooza, and the First Friday outdoor tent exhibitions.”
