LVSK8 IV took place July 2nd 2010 at PLACE Gallery during the Las Vegas Arts District’s monthly First Friday event. The opening night was packed as our Las Vegas fans filtered through to enjoy the 87 killer decks on the walls. 5 lucky people walked away with prize packs of a blank deck, an LVSK8 IV t-shirt, and a sticker pack. Event founder Mike Todoran even got hitched at the First Friday street festival and spent his first hours of wedded bliss amidst the art and artists of LVSK8.

Two weeks into the show the Arts District was rocked by a power substation explosion that blew in the windows and damaged the facade of our host gallery. Fortunately none of the decks were damaged and the building was quickly secured, though the show remained closed for the rest of the month.

For the August First Friday we put on an encore opening/closing reception at Alios Gallery, thanks to owner Todd VonBastiaans.
