Lovecraft, Jim Henson, </div> <div> Terry Gilliam, Ray Harryhausen, Edward Gorey, and Aubrey Beardsley.</div> <div> <B> </B>In his precollege years, he was a graphic design artist for surf companies </div> <div> along the east and west coasts. Towards the end of his college career he put aside </div> <div> painting to pursue a career in the tattoo industry, and with the influence of his gracious </div> <div> mentor Deborah Oliveri (formerly Deborah Inksmith), he was able to gain a whole </div> <div> new perspective on art.
