Fascinated with flames, tattoo art, angels, spirituality, duality, and the state of being human.</div> <bR> <div> Mike Arthurholtz was born and raised amidst the glitz, glamour, and clanking casinos of beautiful Las Vegas, which prefers your cash over it's culture. Mike had two great interests coming out of high school; art and medicine. Since art school was a financial impossibility, the military offered another interesting option. After a six year tour in the U.S. Army as a combat medic in the 2nd Infantry Division (Korea) and the 101st Airborne Division, he fed his curious fascination with the human body at the University of Nevada Las Vegas (UNLV) and received a Bachelor of Science degree in Kinesiology. Then, through more perseverence, fulfilled every kids childhood dream working as a Firefighter/Paramedic.</div> <bR> <div> Mike has precious little formal art instruction, but with natural talent and the inspiration he derives from the world around him (however distorted that may be), he is now in the process of creating a portfolio worthy of public showing.
