"I learned to draw in a Parisian bookstore. Hours copying "A Tarts' Progress" gave me my style- Victorian, detailed, very mean. Like the protagansist of a Where's Waldo book, dirty secrets creep around my pictures. Keep your eyes peeled. I've inked my crowquill for whoever pays me. Among them, The Wall St Journal, SF Weekly, and Playgirl. The first art shows I had, the bar turned the lights off halfway through. Now, Molly Crabapple originals are spreading like the clap. They've been sighted at the Coney Island Museum, Art at Large, MF Gallery, Perihelion Arts, and the Museum of American Illustration."
"Like many self-employed types, I'm unhireable. I'm too lazy, ornory and arrogant to hold a real job. Making my living drawing's as good a scam as it gets. But why do I draw what I draw? Well, if I said everything I thought, I'd likely get punched in proper company. If I draw it, it counts as art."
